New Born Fracture Humerus

Depart San Antonio

weekend of December 17 to 19:

After exactly two months spent in Texas, it is high time for us to leave San Antonio for my next course in Pensacola, Florida. But given that I should start there that January 7 we therefore entitled to three weeks of well deserved holiday!

Thursday my Last week was held the graduation ceremony of the DLI, to reward our hard work during these two months. This week, we were 15 to make us "graduated" as they say ("The Graduate").

So we had the right to a ceremony with the very American national anthem for our entry into the room followed by the graduation of the second in command school.

Here from left to right: Adil Said and two Moroccan pilots really nice with whom we celebrated our departure two days ago, my classmate JJ South African and Uruguayan Diego an officer.

Friday, so we started to pack all our belongings in the apartment and after going to see "Due Date" in film (a film in the same humorous style that "Hangover" really funny, but you can see in France in three months at least ...), we joined our French friends Arthur, Eric and his girlfriend Lucy, for one last evening together. What better way to end our adventure Texan than eating at the top of the tower of San Antonio. View over the city, and something unusual, the tower rotates during the meal that gives us a panorama of the city through 360 °, really nice. So it was the perfect opportunity for Amanda to test our new toy: the new camera, here is the result.

On Saturday we ended up storing all our belongings and took the opportunity to return to downtown San Antonio for the last time to take some pictures of Christmas decorations.

Sunday noon departure to Houston with all our belongings in the trunk. At this moment we have enjoyed having purchased a large SUV. Everything is back in the trunk!
Our plane to San Francisco to Houston at 17:30 and we planned to leave our car on a car park near the airport for our vacation.
During the 3 hour straight roads that separate us from Houston is a bit monotonous landscape, the ranch lost sight, fortunately the eccentricity of vehicles allows us Texans a little fun ... Yes here it is not the car behind the trailer but the opposite!

Here downtown Houston seen from the highway:

Finally we arrive safely at the Houston airport, the holiday can finally begin ...
